ATTACK OF THE KILLER SHREWS- It's a completely low budget movie made for the drive in and movie nuts like me.
What could be more fun than dressing up a bunch of dogs in porcupine outfits having them chase people around a house!?
That's basically is the movie. It's a typical sci fi horror with the professor and his buxom daughter stranded on a island with some crazy experiment that turns these little rodents into giant man eating shrews!
For a bunch of scientists these guys do a lot of drinking, offering martinis to getting completely wasted while standing guard with shot guns in their hands.
Lots of screams and lots of drinking as the shrews eat their way into the adobe the cast are hiding in. They finally figure the only way to escape is cover themselves in big metal tanks and duck waddle their way to a boat near by...
Of course this movie isn't just for sh*ts and giggles there is a theme a statement about over population, basically if the population keep growing, we will run out of resources and food, we'll end up eating off each other until the last one of us die of starvation.
