JAMES BOND 007: "DIE ANOTHER DAY"- 2002

James Bond 007: "Die Another Day"

I wouldn't surprise me if Pierce Brosnan is voted as the worst James Bond ever! Although I think Daniel Craig was a poor choice, Brosnan gets the award for having the worst scripts, villains and stories of the series.

"Die Another Day" was Bronsan's finale as 007, maybe this film was the reason we'll never see him as Bond again, because this movie stunk!! It's 100 worse than any of the Roger Moore farce.

OK I have to admit Halle Berry was a bonus to the film, Berry plays Jinx the bikini wearing CIA agent. I don't know why everyone seem to think that in order for a black woman to be Strong and smart she has to talk like Foxy Brown, which is what she did here, Jinx made remarks like "Your Mamma!" and "Bitch!" for a moment there I thought I was looking at Christie Love in 1974.

What made this movie even more ridiculous was the directing by Lee Tamahori with awful "Matrix" camera moves and angles making the viewer feel like they are playing James Bond the video game. You see Bond doing stupid stunts like wind surfing with remains of his blown up vehicle, driving around in a sports car that can become invisible (yawn) , a villain who wore a robotic armor to control nuclear war heads and to top things off there is a surgical procedure that transform a Korean terrorist to a white British entrepreneur!

The only delight I found in this movie was that Bond was captured and got his ass kicked by the north Koreans in the opening titles.

Bronsan had the charm and looks to play 007 but he was tainted by celebrity casting; Denise Richards as a nuclear scientist Christmas Jones, dressed like Lara Croft... or Teri Hatcher, Michelle Yeoh and even MaDonna made a cameo in "Die Another Day", making the Brosnan Bond the MTV Generation Bond.

This is the first time I've heard the theme to this one (I've not seen the movie) -- simply awful!!
