BERSERK!

What a wonderful title for a Joan Crawford movie! In a way I feel sorry for her, once an Oscar winner, Queen of Hollywood and in her old age she has to resort to films like this.

On a personal note, it was so delightful and appropriate that "Berserk!" was playing on TV on my wedding night! Imagine my new bride in her sexy nightgown waiting for me to meet her in our bedroom, while I laugh loudly and happily watching this turkey on television!



Like many of her films Joan plays another hard edged, powerful woman, the owner of The River Circus. Not far from reality, Crawford has an estrange daughter who hates her guts, so when members of the circus acts starting to die from violent mishaps during performances... we start to wonder what is going on...

Joan's bright orange hair is about as colorful as the circus acts and don't miss the cute little musical number performed by a midget, the bearded lady, the thin man and the strong man.

If you watch closely, even Batman and Robin made a cameo in this flick!
After viewing the movie more than once and on the night of my wedding, it's no wonder it's called "Berserk!"
